Not being funny, but are you sure its a GTI? Apart from the lack of big bumpers, the side trim is wrong, as are the rear lights, exhaust should be a twin, front grill should also be a twin, glass should be tinted, rear tailgate spoiler and black window surround trim missing....lot of work to make a J plate GTi look like a CL!!! Any pics of the engine and interior? Aha but it Does have GTI wheels, the boot plinth colour coded (unique to big bumper models) and a 16v GTI beesting radio aerial (only valvers had this although its a common mod). Nice sleeper if it is a valver! Why so cheap though? Someone doing that work would know its a 16V GTI so worth £1.5k in good nick.....

ET 35 and the centres have spigot rings to fit a civic - 56.1 I think although you can swap the spigot rings to suit any centre bore size.

127k lots of history 3 previous owners. Very nice condition, campaign wheels and comfy corrado front seats otherwise totally standard down to the stereo. Very minor rust on unused wiper hole and rear panel otherwise rust free and straight, I'll include matched paint I bought to fix but never got round to it. Been totally reliable for me for well over a year but time to move on. Needs clutch and wheel bearing looking at (some parts included). Very quick, last of the lighter weight small bumper cars and no PAS for the classic GTI drive. Now on the ebay: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=130202120850&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

Needs clutch adjusting or replacing (still has auto adjuster cable so replacement with included manual cable may fix?) hence £600 ono. Car is in Lancaster, MOT till Sept and tax till end of March. Call Will on 07071020984 cheers.

Yes they look like the above, but the metal tubes aren't attached and don't come with them.
The cable slides up the metal tubes to the handbrake.
