SOLD! Toyo 11902 front mounted intercooler. It has a couple of storage marks on the fins but has never been used. Seems pretty sturdy and well made. 7cm depth 80cm width including mounts 55cm with just the radiator 33cm high Pipe diameter is 2.5" I don't know what it was originally designed for. It came with a non-turbo BMW but it wasn't fitted to the car. £10 pick up from Eastbourne, East Sussex.

There's a few on here. Besides the one I have and rotten one I sold, I've never seen another in person. Would certainly be good to change that!
I've got a break down of how many were officially imported each year (730 for 1978) but I don't know where mine fits in. Is it the last few digits of the chassis number?

I am very envious of your wild red interior! Makes the grey one in mine look rather boring. Keep up the good working bring another back. Given how rare they were even in their day, you're incredibly lucky to stumble across your original one so many years later. Brilliant story!

Hoping to do some shows this year. Haven't previously as I've had other cars to attend with and I buried the Sap in the garage. REALLY buried it! Have you done any retromatt?

I have one! It's a '78 GSL. Did have a second but the rot had really set in and sourcing parts was impossible. I'm in the process of tidying mine for the summer and am modelling the rear panel on your car. Black and chrome. Saved photos from its Ebay ad about 4 years ago! Been trying to track down some similar alloys but no luck so far. Never seen another driving around but have looked at a few for sale. Don't come up often but they are out there. Sister cars Celeste, GTO and Galant seem to be much thinner on the ground.

If you have an old style V5 then you can tax at the post office with your MOT and insurance certificate. Been a couple of years since I had a car with an old V5 but not heard its' changed. I would then send the old V5 in to the DVLA for a new one which will let you do it online in future.

Looking for some guidance from BMW fans.
1990 2.5l E30 cab on a G plate in very much project condition. Non-runner. Don't know the mileage at the moment. Has sat in a hedge for the last 10 years. Not actually that rotten as far as I can see but there's going to be some rust. Roof doesn't look too bad and car is pretty straight. Think it has the M Tech bodykit. I realise it's a bit "how long is the string" but is there any value to E30's or better turned into toasters?
Would like to help the owner out and find it a new home but I need a vague idea of what he should expect.

Besides an 80's Peugeot, I've never found anything more comfortable to sit in than my LS. Here's to many relaxed, well engineered (and slightly expensive!) miles

I'd never noticed the different bump stripes! They were registered 7 days apart but must have come over from the 'States at different times.
I'm on the UKPOC forum but not an overly active member.

Mine was pretty quick and enjoyable. If I were looking for one now I'd start on the underside - rot in sills and around the back axle and arches gets pretty bad pretty quick. Service history tends to vary at this age but find one that's obviously been looked after. Most will have been driven hard. They're good for it as long as they're maintained properly. The turbo isn't a 'nice' engine to work on in terms of space. By the book the cambelt requires the engine out but there's ways and means around it. The belts aren't too forgiving once beyond their expiry date, a bit like Alfa's. Bonnets are expensive. Parts weren't too bad when I was had mine a few years ago. I imagine the supply of breakers is starting to dwindle as the model becomes rarer.
The turbo's have an LSD (Q2) diff which gives decent grip for a FWD. Always have decent tyres up front as rubbish ones ruin the fun.
Personally I preferred its sister car the GTV. I held onto that a lot longer and found it more enjoyable to own. I prefer big engines to turbos but a lot of people love boooooost. The Fiat was more reliable though. Never regret owning either but the stereotype certainly fit for my Alfa experience!

On the road Probe: Got lucky finding this one as it's my fave colour. First thing I did was fit a spoiler. Not had any MOT problems but I went digging this year and found some rot to address. The fibreglass sunroof took hours to get right and I'm still not chuffed with the final result. Begrudgingly accepted it's better than a waterfall and wet bum! I've got some later swirlies for it now. Almost finished Probe: Tan leather like yours. Pretty tidy all round and I have a spoiler to fit. Lathered it in oily gunk so fingers crossed it will keep any rot away. Again it has holes in the sunroof and I'm debating what to do - fork out on another repro and be disappointed or try and repair an original one. Apparently this is a very rare colour. There's also a "Probe I will one day attend to" that 20 years ago was a shiny Rio red. The paint then fell off and it continues to whiten everyday. My instincts told me to take it home. History is vague but it appears to have covered 30,000 miles in its first 3 years and then vanished from the road. Underneath and in the arches it's clean enough to lick if you were so inclined. This lickability warranted its rescue and one day will be repainted. Don't hold me to when this day will be! The Sapp is still with me. The Corona has found a new home as I was starting to get a bit itchy over a few 90's cars I'd like to own before I'm priced out of them.

As a fellow Probe nut, I tip my hat to the time and effort you've put into yours. It looks remarkable and I've never seen that red look so deep except for the brochure. You've worked a miracle. The spoiler sets the rear off nicely and it's good to know I'm not the only one with a broom handle to hold the boot open!
I've spent quite a bit of time over the autumn on my 24v addressing various issues big and small. It's not a patch on yours in its appearance but a lot tidier than when I picked it up a few years ago. It's back to being a fun car to drive now there's not a giant hole in the sunroof letting the outside in!

That last photo, is that Maldon? It's somewhere up north. Might be Maryport.

Yes the Sapporo came with power steering and my brochure suggests it was standard for all Sapp models

Nissan 300ZX Z32 twin turbo engine (VG30DETT). It consists of: Engine block Bottom end / sump Both heads Inlet manifold Cam gears EGR pipes Plenum Flywheel Misc pipes and brackets What you see is what you get. It turns over by hand but I don't know if it works. I bought it 4 years ago and over the years took off what I needed. Its' been covered. Moved away from Zeds now. The vendor claimed it was in good order but I never heard it running. Might be useful to someone. It's sold for spares or repairs. If it doesn't work, I don't want an angry phone call - it's sold as an unknown entity. Collection from Hailsham, East Sussex. You will have to pick it up. I cannot post / pallet as I do not have a crane to move the engine around. The pallet it's sat on has collapsed. You are welcome to break it up in my garden (don't make a mess) if this makes transport easier. Just want it out the way. £10 which I'll spend on pizza to celebrate it leaving my garden.

Toyota Mark II Corona. This was my first outing with it. It's 'affectionate tribute' style was the reason I brought it over from Japan - fancied muscle car design without muscle car size!
