I hope they don't remake the Triumph, after looking at what they did to the current Mini and make it massive and completely wrong in my opinion. I can imagine them bringing back the TR as something the size of a Maserati, or even bring back the Dolomite as some sort of people carrier. Then to ruin these even more they would bring out endless different versions that just get further and further from the original ideas...
First they need to fix the Mini brand by making it small then I will consider allowing them to make a Triumph. But thats just my opionion, sorry to anyone who's a fan of new Minis, and for the record I like proper Beemers even if they're not my kinda car.

To make some form of 4 door Austin A35 van with a 3.0 litre Twin turbo diesel engine. This would go in the same garage as my Turbo'ed café racer made in a similar way as the Triton Café Racer but instead of an old Triumph engine and Norton frame I'd use the engine from the new Speed Triple, 133bhp from a 1050cc engine, turbocharge this, put it in the new Norton Commando 961 Cafe Racer frame and suitably upgrade both so its powerful fast, and can cope with all the power. Imagine this with around 250bhp rather than 80bhp. And then to get my current A35 2 door saloon so its a combination of these two pictures: Low down and Weller wheels like in this picture. Oil cooler, chopped grill. But with styling more like this which I plan to be doing: And I want everything in the British Racing Green Metallic in the picture below.

Brb checking all the local barns. Never know what you might find, went with a friend to check on his mums horses once and he thought he'd take me along cause he knew I liked cars and there was some in this old barn where his horses were, so we went to this farm where his horses were for the winter, told me there was an old beetle and some others he didn't have a clue about. Got there and saw: Old beetle Ford Mustang Ford Galaxie Estate with a huge V8 Daimler Double Six Coupé (only around 400 ever built) plus a couple of other cars under sheets. So ask around, you never know what you might find out from people you know.

Yeah don't worry he is telling the truth and its what I use, once you know all the features it has it can be quite effective too The 'photoshops' (sounds a bit better than 'GIMPs') I uploaded in my cars thread are done on this.

For my A35 I've found quite alot of parts on ebay, so if you have the time to spot a bargain I'd recommend there, other bits I've found elsewhere but my guess would be the Owners club for recommendations on where to get individual bits, especially bigger bits such as exhausts or panels etc.

I'd agree with that. Its not a great bike tbh (but works fine and looks good for the purpose) so I'd be surprised if anyone has much info on it. Bit of a dept store bike. Not meaning to diss the bike. It looks awesome now and is probably way better than current low level bikes. Nice work on the trailer. Looks awesome. I have one for my bike. I didn't make it though. Couldn't do without the open top though. I do my weekly shopping on it and need to overload it sometimes. Any pics of the trailer to tow bar hitch? Interested in what method you used. Cheers He don't worry I know its not the best bike, but when its free and cost me only about £50 in total for the paints, new seat, tyres, handlebar tape (insulation tape ) etc I think its great at the moment only thing I want to do is probably get a comfy seat as I got a slim white one for appearance (regret it now). Didn't think there would be much to be honest it would just be interesting to know about it. Also regarding the open top thing that has all been considered, The top half separates off like that so it can be a bit of a flatbed kinda thing like in the photo above, and then that can be taken off as well so its just a tube chassis so can strap other things to it or make more bodies for it in the future. Heres some pictures of the towing hook part, really simple design, its one of those door closer things off the top of a door at college (I thought they wouldn't need it ) chopped up, shortened and braised onto the chassis and the attachment on the pannier. The two arm bits off this. (Should be able to see in the next picture, the flatter piece is now on the bike and the tube bit on the left of the picture is threaded and is the front of the trailer, but the thread is long enough so it can turn but no chance of falling apart.) Turned into this, the screw holds the hoop on the back of the pannier, the various joints give it the possibility to move in any direction so you don't actually notice the trailer unless its full. Extension of the pannier. Braised two washers on the back of the pannier, and then a piece of metal tube was bent round to fit the bike, ends flattened in a vice, then more washers braised on, these then hoop onto the axle when its put on the bike. alls screwed together it supports the weight on the pannier and the axle so it doesn't put too much stress on the axle. Hope that explains it, can always give more/better info if you want.

I'm just going by what my grandpa said to me, could possibly be a bitsa with the amount of stuff that turns up in that garage, if you know how on earth I could find out when it was made I'd love to but a search on google turned up not much at all. All I know is its called a Focus Sprint and it had a sticker on saying it was something to do with Honda. Edit: Just found these pics... If anyone knows of a way I might be able to find out more about this bike cause of these please let me know

I use to run my old GTD on a 70/30 Oil/Diesel mix with a cetane booster in it - went better than on just diesel! But then went 50/50 during the winter to stop pump issues when cold weather! My dads Saab 9-3 also runs better on his brew of fuel, made using old cooking oil etc add a few chemicals, leave it to brew and use filters so the various bits don't damage the cars filters or pumps. Managed to get a 10mpg increase (from about 45 to 55mpg I think) using a 50/50 mix of his brew and normal diesel and the brew stuff works out to be about 15p a litre I think, he only sorted out the kit in September and had recovered the costs already by December.

Can't believe no one has shown this car and roofbox combination... Rather nice I think even if it isn't retro, but the idea could be applied, whatever the style of your car is try and bring it onto the roof box as well.

Has anyone got any pictures of any 60's bike lights and even better has anyone got some 60's bike lights that they have gutted the insides from and redone it with LEDs? If so, how well did it work?
