I've also got 4 spare steel wheels that could be used for banding (which was my original plan for them) and some used parts (brake calipers, master cylinder) that could be reconditioned that I'll throw in with the sale.

I've replied to those who have messaged me about this. Since some questions are getting asked a lot I figured I should add the answers here: - The car starts and runs fine
- The brakes are not seized and the car rolls well
- It seems to drive fine, but I've only driven it a couple of feet in and out of the garage in the last few months
- I'm in the S7 area of Sheffield.

Americans really can ruin anything maybe but if you are a petrol head theres a part of you saying "id give my right nut for a thrash in that" This kind of sums up my feelings on it. I don't like how it looks (the GT6 looked great as standard), but I bet it is fun to drive!

This is my 1975 Daf 66 SL saloon. Used to be yellow, now badly painted red. The paint is pretty bad and there are some small dents in the bonnet and one front wing, but the car is solid. I got it a bit more than a year ago. It had been sitting for about 10 years. I recommissioned it, put it through an MOT and then hardly had a chance to use it. It has been dry stored for the past 15 months or so. It is currently SORNed and the MOT has expired in the last couple of months but I would expect it to go through another one with no problems. No advisories on the last MOT. Since I've had it it has had the following work done and parts fitted: - New brake calipers, pads, discs, shoes, rear wheel cylinders and braided hoses
- New brake servo
- New brake master cylinder
- New anti-roll bar drop links
- New rear dampers
- New tyres all round including the spare
- New vario belts
- New alternator
- New rear exhaust section and exhaust mounts
- Welded repairs to rear spring mounts, boot floor, and sills
- Inertia reel seatbelts fitted to front (already fitted in rear)
- Full service (last year), including air filter, oil filter, points, condenser, dizzy cap, plugs, leads, oil etc.
While it looks a bit rough it is an extremely solid car. For a variety of reasons I need to move it on. I'm looking for £400 for it. If you're interested PM me. Here's some pictures and there's more info on the work done in this thread on the Daf owner's club forum. Cheers, Mark

I've got a pair of Mamba Baby Cub bucket seats for sale. They are black with white piping. These were bought for a project that didn't happen. They've been unpacked and placed in the car but were never properly fitted or used. Looking for £100 for the pair collected from Sheffield. I've also got a pair of universal subframes, that will fit these and many other seats. One has been assembled for test fitting, the other is still in its packaging. Looking for £30 for the pair, again collected from Sheffield. Much too big and heavy to ship, so absolutely collection only please.

I'm having another clear out of my library, so have the following books up for sale. Books can be collected from me in Sheffield or I can post for extra. I'll also combine postage costs on multiple books where possible. How to Build Motorcycle-engined Racing Cars £12 + £3 P&PIn very good condition, no marks or damage. 21st Century Performance £12 + £3 P&PIn good condition. Edges of front cover have some wear but pages are excellent.

Nice. I haven't been back home to Limerick in about a year but I'll be heading back in October, I'll have to make sure to take a look at some of them.

I'm selling my Sealey CP2400 cordless impact wrench. It's a couple of years old. Used it a only handful of times. Comes with battery, charger and carry case. Looking for £60. I'd prefer collection from Sheffield, but I can ship. UK Postage would be about an extra £12 due to the size and weight though.
