Tickets have been purchased for this year and Alfie will be joining me again. Although I had sold the 405 it's now back in my possession. The Dimma wheels have gone still undecided what to put on, but I have coilovers for the front now so atleast it will be level. Looking forward to another great Gathering. Going to have to go some to beat those Dimma wheels, we were mighty impressed by it Glad to have you coming back. Thank you yes the Dimma wheels will be hard to beat, but I had an offer I could not refuse.

10 Months Mot, 97 thousand on the clocks. Extremely cheap to run with the very reliable XUD9 engine fitted. It's not a slow as you would think, ideal cheap daily. Laquer has crazed on the roof and bonnet which is typical of French cars of this era. Rest of the bodywork is good no rot. Interior is very tidy. Everything works as it should always starts. Has a set of 14inch Saxo vtr wheels fitted with very good tyres. Located in North Wales Will try and get some pics up but can email if interested

Never sorted the front actually sold the car ! 306 coilovers work on the front of you use the 405 top mounts, wheels were sold separately they were 9 on the rear 7.5 on the front.its now had a full respray, and will be back on the show scene this year, I have a couple of other projects in working on hopefully in time for RRG.

Glad you enjoyed it and hope you'll be back. It's the second time we've been down with our daughter (two and a half this year)and our youngest (currently 6 months) will be with us next year. Great atmosphere and everyone so friendly. It's now a fixed event in our yearly schedule! As long as no one minds the occasional toddler tantrum then I don't think we really need a 'family area' as even the noise last year was no problem for us. Maybe a general 'quieter area' of the campsite would be better then anyone who wants can have a bit of peace. We'll probably be sticking with the noisy bit! :-) Will def be back mate, we were camped pretty close to you I remember seeing the lada very cool! The noise wasn't an issue to be fair on the Friday he slept all the way threw, will have to have a rethink as regards to the tent for next year tho!

Not that I remember mate, don't recall seein the 405 in the campsite First car I hadn't seen before that "popped" for me - I thought the wheels had been done by the firm that raised a lot of interest a while back - never even thought of Dimma wheels which I am now ashamed for as I've had a few 205's over the years (well 27 years ago....) Thanks mate, you can actually still buy them threw image I think? But these are the original Dimmas

Yet another unexpectedly awesome car on Retro Rides, my mum had one of these in a dark blue colour with black leather interior, I remember she used to have to enter a code near the handbrake before it would start very MI5, I was young... Thanks mate π My dad had a few when I was younger always had a soft spot for them !
