I tried to fit a set of Manta Rostyles to a Scirocco (very quickly). The offset is completely wrong, so you'll need spacers, and I found the positioning of the centre bore to be wrong for the rocco. Must admit only offered one up, and decided that it wouldn't work easily.
Oh, and if you haven't guessed, yes Mk1 Cavs are 4x100pcd, as are all Mantas (except 400).

Is that a Taunus Coupe below the Manta? That's a car I need to own.

My solution was to get a girlfriend who was already a petrolhead. Although she does think that 8 cars between us is probably a couple too many.

Sorry to hear about Ted, he seemed a nice guy. I'm the idiot who got that and the Cavalier Mk1 off you. The Cav had to go for scrap as it was too far gone, although it carried it's donor card well. The Scone is still sat around waiting for me to do something with it, I've just offered it up for sale via the Manta club forum.
Unfortunately it's in need of a fair bit of welding, a couple of wings and a respray. It is savable, but is probably not worth doing financially.

I don't know what you mean The car has been very well looked after, but has had both sides resprayed at some point, it's not the best job I've ever seen, but will do for now. It's dealer and one family owned from new, and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Fortunately, so did Jayne.

Thanks, I like them. The Manta is the car I've always wanted since I was a kid, the others just sort of happened.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies. The Monza is on it's original head, so that should be good. I wasn't sure because the 2.0cih from the Manta was only compatible from March 85 production. My user name does come from a Manta, but not a B! Here's the new toy My partner drives this and I've also got a Manta B hatch and an Ascona B saloon kicking about, both in need of serious TLC.

Hi, first post here, I see there's a couple of Monza owners about the place, I was wondering if anyone knew what 3.0E engine numbers (if any) were suitable for unleaded? I've recently got a 36000 mile B plated GS/e.
