This is all excellent and proved the naysayers wrong... I never had a doubt you would do it (just like the supercharger 🤣🤣)... Now if lockdown 2.0 would end you could come back up to mine to help as I need another pair of hands that would be great haha haha you're not wrong It needs to end so we can crack on with both!! Supercharger got binned when I realised it probably wouldn't fir under the bonnet no excuse bout super charger, bonnet at mine to modify an swap over when needed ,super charged and manual for the win

Also.... Knowledgeable chaps and chappesses. Does anyone know anywhere in the UK you can get an alternator rebuilt to give a higher output.. The little denso that's on it (40 amp) runs the engine just fine. But I want to get electric power steering fitted and working and it won't run that.. Brise do the exact same one but in 95 amp but it's a billion quid.. and I don't like that pricing.. Is it possible to get mine rewound/recored so it's a higher output? Is that even a thing? I know you can get it done in the states. But didn't know if it's summat you can get done here. Cheers not sure if its still there thing but neil graysons use to rebuild alternators etc, they could point you in right direction, may be worth a try for nowt, based in woodseats pal

nothing to do with me but thought it might interest someone(copied the add) Mazda 616 Capella 1977. Been dry stored in a garage for 20+ years. No keys and engine is seized but may free up? Four cylinder 1586cc. Registration valued at £250. Full V5C. Think there are only three of these left in the UK?

no cheap upgrades for the 1uz , turbos are the best bang for buck and the stock motor can take 12 lb with an aftermarket Ecu to make around 400whp or 6/7 psi on the std Ecu with some bodging to add fuel in boost to make around 350 crank hp cheers, thanks for the info froggy
