Mid-sixties (so DVLA/MoT-friendly) Chevy 283 short block - dismantled for inspection and rebuild. Has one bent rod but no apparent crank or block damage, no sign of bluing due to excessive heat etc so I can only imagine it must have been hydrauliced at some point – maybe someone drove into a pond, who knows. Otherwise very rebuildable engine, great for a period hot rod, and the 283s came with a forged steel crank so can be built to rev or handle a blower. £100 (haven't got a pic but can get one, looks like an orange V8 engine block ;D )
Mr Gasket street stack induction for Holley etc, new, has foam filter in the top. £20
And some brand new parts that I got from Summit but won't be using due to a change of plan - save yourself the shipping and duty:
SFI harmonic damper:
www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-C4265/ £80
camshaft and lifters kit
www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-K1107/ £60
(forgot to take a pic of the lifters, looks like a box of lifters...)
PM if interested, prefer you pick it up or can bring to Essex swap meet or Ace nights, might post for what it costs if I've got the money in my hands
