Hey chaps
I've just bought another charade turbo so need to free up some space and some cash by selling my fiesta aka THE FLYING TURD.
First off, this is a very very early mk2 fiesta believed to be built in '83
I bought this in November with a genuine 33k on the clock and two former keepers.
It's got mot until next November and tax until May.
She drives absolutely spot on and starts first turn of the key in all weathers.
The service history with this car is quite frankly ridiculous. Every 4-500 miles it was serviced and as such the service book is full all the way to the back cover. I changed the oil and filter just short of 4k ago.
Waxoyled from new
I do an awfull lot of miles town driving and it never fails to give me any less than 35mpg in town and 45mpg on the motorway.
It may only be 957cc but it flies and leaves SWMBO's 206 for dead. It'll sit all day at 75 and tops out at 88 on the flat.
I had some plans for this car mainly involving a zetec swap so have a late xr2 5 speed gear linkage that I'll throw in too.
I bought a set of 7x13 alleycats that I've had painted (no pics yet) but for an extra £250 you can take these too.
Everything works as it should on the car and the heaters blow nice and warm.
It uses no oil or water and despite being a cliche, I honestly would drive it anywhere.
The interior is lovely and basic, seats are comfy but there is a slight tear on the drivers 4cm long.
The paint is dull at the front but genuinely only does need a power polish to make shiny as hell again.
There's a very small spot of rust on the scuttle and a 50p sized hole in the front valance. The drivers door has had a small knock on the leading edge on a gatepost or similar.
The bumpers are lightly rusted. There is NO rot on them, a light sanding will bring the shiney steel to the surface and just repaint. It's just like the paint has scorched off with the sun (ratlook 'yo' )
No knocks bangs or rattles.
Has really done me proud and will be a shame to see it go to be honest.
Have some pics:
(please note, it's proper filthy in these pics and looks different alltogether after a wash)
