yeah might just be static belts with no space for the reel. Like the old KANGOL ones...
The bolt for the other end might be the seat bolt? Does the backrest have a bolt retaining it at the bottom?

the inertia part is mounted in the boot same as a manta ,will try and post some pictures tommoz for you as it explains it the best

It might not be of any help, but I'm breaking a Mk3 Cav this coming weeeknd. If you haven't already sourced some, do you want me to keep the rear belts for you?
If you're not too far away, I'd be happy to help fit them as well....

were the bolt comes through into the boot were the belt mech fits in rear inner arch were the belt pivots on rear shelf,you should able to find the bolt hole by feeling around this area on the rear post. were the belt anchors on the bottom off rear wheel arch sorry for the delay ,hope this helps mate
