	Hi folks, More motorbike releated than cars, but would anyone know if/how I can scan microfiche onto a pc using a home scanner? I have found some ideas (see method 2 on page below), had a quick try but first results are not good www.familytreeforum.com/showthread.php/14399-Microfiche-Reading-Part-two-(flatbed-scanner) Reason I'm asking is that I have just got 2 boxes (300 ?) 'fiches covering motorbikes & dealer info, from early 70s to late 90s ;D Lots of detail, just wondering how I can get to use it Any suggestions welcome, or links to PC sites that might have guides. many thanks

	If you were photocopying from 'fiche, there used to be bespoke machines to do that. Remember, the information on a fiche sheet is tiny as one sheets could have dozens if not hundreds of pages stored on it, so it's highly unlikely you'd be able to increase the resolution on a home scanner enough to magnify the required page to scan it.

	Yeah there were fiche readers with ability to print out the page on paper. Or just put it in a fiche reader and take photo of screen with decent dslr camera, probably your best bet. lot of faffing though.
