Obviously we know about CARS. Is there owt else planned that i have missed? Any other shows we have or are tempted to have a stand at, and any track days in the pipeline. Personally i'll hit a few odd shows but no big master plan like last year. what ever happens.... Classic Ford show JAE 2001 etc etc

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

correct me if i'm wrong but i don't know if there are any others that would satisfy enough interest as we're such a diverse forum (that's not a bad thing by the way ) VW will have theirs J stuff will have theirs and I'll be going to loads of shows where I'm not welcome in a leyland ! ;D

Thinking of regional meet-ups, this is what we got to our Norfolk one this week, plus another SD1 later and the promise of more next month. Relaxed, informal, no organisational hassles. Last weekend's show pictures demonstrate that there's plenty there even at 'normal' shows, and things like Bromley always have plenty. Sadly not much for older J-stuff, as JAE has been taken over by modern cars. One or two well-done ones would be interesting, but hundreds of them? However, there is the Japanese Nostalgia Nationals at Billing, a fortnight after CARS.

Will try to do the Norfolk meet from July onwards! Otherwise anyone nearby is welcome to the Old Skool retro car club meets, third wednesday of the month at the CROWN PH, Acton, Suffolk. It's not too "clubby", no-one gets left out, forced to "join" etc.
The Street Rod Nationals, Suffolk County showground on August bank holiday weekend, is a dead cert. Always a good weekend, if you see us come and have a beer! (I'll be the skinny bloke directing showfield traffic on the Sunday....)

I can't do the Norfolk meets, as they clash with my local "Flat Cap" classic car club monthly meet.
