got in my mx5 this morning, to be greeted by a big puddle on the rear shelf. I know there are a few mx5 owners on here with hardtops, so I'm hoping someone can help me out. I know where the leak is coming from. the window has come away from the fibreglass hood. I have no idea how it is supposed to attach. it appears to be fixed by way of a window rubber, but ive no idea how to get the glass back in.
i would be very greatfull of any tips or advice.

already ripped it apart (i was at work when i put the post up). the window is, or should i say was! bonded in. So it looks like any ideas i had about fixing it myself have gone out of the window! can anyone recommend a sensibly priced window fitter in the oxfordshire area? it purely needs some new sealant and the window plopping on top. I don't have any suction cup tools, so it would be pointless me even attempting to diy it.

I put a hard top on my old Eunos. It looked straight, seal was in good nick and not loose, but it p'd in water every time it rained. Never got to the bottom of it, so sold it so my car could dry out! Someone has since suggested that it could have been badly stored and twisted, so didn't sit right at the back? Don't know if this could be case with yours......

thanks for the suggestion. ive already found the problem (as posted above!) my problem now is finding someone to refit the glass for sensible money, as no doubt the big windscreen companies will want silly money
