Yes, so we had a bit of an eBay thread not so long ago, but come on, just look at this thing!
Is that not the most awesome vehicle you've ever seen? It looks amazing and I suspect it would benefit from a wash more than anything else.
Sure, it's going to need some work and a few quid throwing at it, but imagine rocking up to RRG'11 in this sucker! Hell, just sell your house and live in it!
Here is what the ad reads, for those of you who can't access eBay...
Here's a link to how it could look one day:

So, someone buy it, or someone educate us and tell us all more about these fantastic vehicles!

This is very rare BMC vehicle, built as a mobile training centre for dealers. Only a few were ever made (less than 20) and fewer are still around today. It's road tax exempt, and was MOT-exempt too (though DVLA asked for one the last time we taxed it). It used to be able to generate 3-phase electricity, and there's still some equipment on board that we don't really know the purpose of.
This one was in regular use until 2003, traveling around the UK and France. Back in Edinburgh that spring, some friendly kids started throwing stones at the windscreens. We took it off to the country, expecting to replace the windscreens and get it back on the road, but life got in the way. It's now clear that this isn't going to happen , so the 'Moose' is for sale as a restoration project.
Both windscreens need replaced and the whole vehicle needs some TLC, but the body is made of aluminium and the chassis is solid.
The vehicle weighs almost 6 tonnes, and plenty of that is aluminium, so there's a fair amount of scrap value in it. We don't want to scrap it, but we do need to get a reasonable sale price.
Please remember you're bidding to buy, so if you want to take a look at the vehicle, e-mail me and come and see it before the auction ends.
