There's a nice little write up and three pages of pics from " The Gathering " in this months Fast Car Magazine . There's also a feature on a very smart Polo 6n on Lincoln rims and a V8 powered MX 5 ! ;D

its gor much better recently, I think people were getting bored of the same old stuff all the time s and the modified retro scene is becoming really popular so they're covering more related things

I think the UK scene is finally getting a bit more like the European and Japanese scene where all sorts of cars rub shoulders... you pick up a Japanese issue of 'Custom Car' magazine and it'll have old stuff, new stuff, race stuff, one box, drift, Fast and Furious style, drag.. the lot... all in a big melting pot... YAY!!

I got the issue yesterday because I know the guy with the Golf Cabby and I was pleasantly surprised to see my car in it twice! I even managed to spot me in the crowd scene when the awards were being given out lol!
I have to say I was quite impressed with some of the cars in their, still not really my thing but it seems that the days of massive bodykits are finally over!
And yes the polo wheels are flippin amazing!

YAY!! I'm surprised that the UK scene has taken this long to mature compared to European and Japanese scenes. Or is it because we see the good and bad in our own scene but only see the best of Germany, Japan, etc? It's great that magazines like Fast Car and Max Power are taking a broader view. I'm sure there will always be a market for new cars big stick on bodykits and ICE, but the modified retro scene is certainly getting bigger and better!

Went to look at it when I was in Tesco but the mags in a bag - Is it worth buying? On an off-topic note, The civic on the cover of Max power this month is pretty tasty! Gun-metal grey with red deep dish wheels..
