Took the new beastie for an MOT today Anybody know where I can buy Rootes / Hilman spares Hunter Estate, 1725 from 1972/1973 so tax exempt... Shopping list needed: Rear wheel bearing (essential) Rubber bushes for rear shocks (do saloon shocks fit? I have found a pair of NOS cheap shocks complete ) Other bits n pieces if I can find them.. pics of said beastie And despite what I had been told the silver glitterflake roof is NOT an MOT failure ;D thanks folks

Thanks for the links folks, will ring around tomorrow. Yep, it's another ex-KfW hack, now oop North Seth / anyone, the beastie should be in the paintshop later this year, once done I shuld have some spares PM if you need : 4x bare doors. solid but scruffy ( any use for spares? I won't have space to keep them ) Glass for above + solid quarterlights, maybe... pair fibreglass front wings new, unused. maybe pair front shock legs maybe pair ok (no leaks, also no damping ) rear shocks. 2x factory workshop manuals ( now have 2 factory + 1 MOD, only need 1 ) Apologies for slow replies, I'm having to use mobile dial-up so no broadband ( = poor PM's, can't check many posts ) cheers

It might not be a help to you at the current moment in time, but I do see a lot of things at Newark Auto jumble. Most of it is original, and un-used.. and 95% of the time, its very cheap.
Hope this helps you (maybe in the future)
EDIT, dates usually help
26th September
24th October
21st November
12th December
