wouldn't a clipper have the bodykit?? Yeah,it should do.my gti cab has the full kit which is on a f plate and is 100% original so I'd guess that's a 1.8carb model.still seems cheap though.

It's not a Clipper it's a Quartet with the wrong interior.

Hi all , on the V5 it says clipper , but I am no expert , it is 1.8 carb model and is being sold cheap as I have too many vehicles and its priced to go , it runs great always starts. Its a little tappy but once warm sound stops . Engine pulls well in all gears .... Would keep it but having small child not the best family car ive owned need something with bigger boot..

I think all it needs is exhaust fitting , then 1 drive shaft gator ,apart from that shes good to go. I have driven this car all over the country without any issues. I really need to sell as my car collection is out of control so no swaps.

Looks good, that rust around the well arches and rear panel looks familiar, just welded up a MK 1 Golf, with the rust showing through it'll probably need both inner and outer arch repair sections, took about a days work for me and a mate to do, another couple of evening to tidy and paint. The panels are cheap and not an especially difficult repair if you are good at welding. Ask a garage to do it and they'll probabky want £500-£700.

When the car was last mot I looked all round underside and there isnt any rust only on the visible bits shown in the picks. If I had the space id keep it as its been one of the most reliable and economical cars ive owned. With the benefit of roof off on days like today.......mmmmm think me go for a drive.
