Anyone else come across Left hand threaded wheel nuts before.
My Alfa GT Junior I found has left hand threaded wheel nuts on the Nearside only.
this has now proved a real problem as I wanted to fit soem chrome caps that fit behind the wheel nuts but cover up the centre bore on the steel wheels. but these chrome caps need a nut with an extra shoulder to hold them in place - but these shouldered nuts Alfa only made in RHD thread for the later GTV & 1750 !!!!!
Damn
wondering if anything else out there has LHD thread wheel nuts, that might work .

Common on commercials, one side only. I'd imagine they are all too big though.

take the studs out and fit right hand thread ones, they must make them to fit, you have them on the other side.

common on 50s and 60s American cars
nuts on both sides of the car will tighten the same direction as the car travels, the idea was they are less likely to come undone
pedals on bicycles work on the same principle still

How about getting a pair of off side hubs for the near side, i used to do this on the front of mk3 transits.

The studs on my Chrysler are pretty ropey now so I need to replace them before it hits the streets again but the L/H/thread are proving to be a curse word to get hold of

My 63 Fiat 1300 has them,(but the 1100 & 1500's don't!)
I wanted to fit sleeved revolution wheels and getting suitable sleeved bolts made would have been ruinous.
Found a 'normal' hub for the front, and had the rear redrilled.
A right royal p.i.t.a. good luck
