	Thats right, a diesel mk2 fiesta dragger apparently running 11's with a slipping clutch in higher gears, fwd too ;D no other info other than the original thread here www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=116244 i want that fibreglass rear end, minus the massive arches though

	The Maltese have been building mega quick diesel drag cars for years. Infact mega quick drag cars full stop. Stock floorpan Mk1 Escorts running 8s for instance. Have some pics Lots of Ex english cars over there too. Dayglo Twister for instance Matt

	I do find something childishly entertaining about very powerful / fast, cars / trucks etc billowing out huge clouds of black smoke . Must be the environmentalist in me ! switches off sarcasm mode

	i do love diesel... mmm lovely nasty diesel smoke. That fiesta has made my day ha ha ha. By the way , mr.speedy, a diesel drag car is still far less bad for the environment than a petrol one

	Yh, I know looks can be decieving. Tbh, i couldn't really give a monkeys about it from our perspective. Industrial emmisions far outway any impact we have with our little IC engines !!

And have been told about a supposedly 2.0 (mondeo) converted P100 with FMIC and both boost and fuelling increased but i've yet to see that

	Here's mine finaly in the Mk3 ;D FMIC and piping to sort but it's on the mounts and bolted in, found a good site with how to's on tuning the lucas injection pump, now i just need an IC (only have small mondeo one at the mo). free road tax, £94 a year fully comp insurance AND 50 MPG, it's a hard life

Used to the old bosch pumps on the vws etc but not so much with the lucas
