Some debate over the weekend of the final colour of the steels once they are banded. My original plan was a creamy white, but black (or graphite) seem'd to be the favorite at the playday So, can someone chop away and do a cream white set, gun metal or a black (and even add a few inches to the girth of them if you can ) Cheers Craig

Black steels with a big dish and chequered pattern in the dish is WIN for me. Seems like everyone is going to make this harder for you rather than easier

Make it into a half track!!! A dark colour will pull together with the light trims you have on the front and if you can have some small body coloured details on the rims then that may also work the other way too So my vote is for the black / same colour as the light trims (but you know that already! )

Actually....I kinda quite like it in the silver if they are banded. Or perhaps: (crappy example...sorry about that!)

Welcome DW1603! I reckon those ^^ with the smoothie look from the first post would be win-win!

The original pic is the winner for me, 100% perfect and the best MX-5 I've ever seen. Width, fitment and stance are all fantastic, and I like the wheels in silver much better than black. It gives it the proper racing look, like an Elan.
