1996 'P' reg Fiesta 1.25 Zetec five door hatch.
Taxed end of July 2010.
MOT'd end of July 2010.
Power steering.
Stacks of receipts/history.
Starts first crack and seems to run ok.
Body/paintwork looks pretty good (but see below).
Original stereo.
Good tyres.
Faults, take a deep breath and read on.
Rear bushes: need changing.
Rear wheel bearings: need changing.
Brakes: poor.
Handbrake: as good as non-existant.
Bodywork: Needs weld passenger rear floor, and also at rear end of m/s sill.
Driver's door: Doesn't open or lock from outside but opens/shuts/locks from inside.
Windscreen: 'star' in line of wipers, probably repairable or get a second hand screen.
Interior: driver's seast bolster worn through to metal support bar 'thing'.
Usual scuffs/rust spots/scrapes you'd expect for car of age.
Mileage: been round the clock, offhand I think about 130k showing.
So whilst it looks pretty reasonable it isn't nice. I'd actually suggest it's curse word.
Starts/drives, engine seems to pull well and if you know what you're doing you could probably spend more time than money and have it through another MOT.
*IMPORTANT*
Due to the above mentioned points I will NOT let this be driven away. Bring a trailer or recovery truck or you won't be taking it away, simples.
You can have a drive up a genuine private road no problem, but no on road test drives sorry due to faults. Examine/test it all you like, I'm not trying to hide anything and have no reason or desire to lie to anyone about it.
Perhaps good for an engine transplant or for someone to fix up on the cheap.
Sold absolutely 'spares or repairs' only. It's a curse word car and I don't pretend it's anything else. It might look pretty nice but does need lots of work.
I reckon it's worth the price weighed in with the cat and couple of others bit removed to sell so you can't really go wrong.
£175 £150 complete, collection only from near Chester, Cheshire and don't forget I won't let it be driven away.
Don't really want a swap or part-ex but could be swayed by an old Vespa/LML/Lambretta project or parts.
