122161 miles, finished in Graphite Grey. MOT till January and 2 months Tax. I have had this car for just over 6 months now and in that time I have maintained it regardless of cost with all receipts to prove (along with all previous MOTs and LOTS! of history). She has had:
Standard exhaust from down pipe back.
Front near side wheel bearing.
Front off side drive shaft.
GTI-6 rear shocks.
Rear breake pipe.
Starter motor.
ECU temp sensor.
Radiator thermoswitch.
Steering rack (including track rod ends)
All of these parts have been purchased brand new and will not need to be replaced for many years!
When I bought her she had already been lowered and fitted 15" 1.9 Speedline wheels, these are all wrapped in matching rubber with loads of tread left (again, can't see these needing to be replaced for a couple of years) She handles superbly and I am going to miss not having to slow down for the bends when she goes! The 1.6 engine always fires up on the button and is nice and revvy.
Since owning the car it has had it's oil changed by me twice (Mobil 1), once inlcuding new filters and fresh gear box oil.
The interior is really nice, bright red carpet and complete dash. The heater is also fully functional unlike many 205's! It is let down slightly by wear to the front seat bolsters but these seats can be bought very cheap online as many enthusiast's upgrade to the half leather seats found in the 1.9 GTI. The rubber has also perished in the clamp holding the drivers window in it's mech, this can make it awkward to operate but the part is available cheap from peugeot and shouldn't cost much more than £15 to put right. The only other bad point that I can think if is a slight scuff on the front bumper but this is a 20 year old and these things can be expected!
I was planning on keeping this car for a couple of years but stumbled across my dream car at a bargain price yesterday so unfortunately she needs to find a new home. I need a quick sale to fund the new car so all serious offers will be considered!
I also have the original 1.6 alloys which are all in good condition, these will come with the car if the buyers wants!
£1300 or nearest offer!
