I was tasked yesterday to help one of the residents in our flat identify a car she has on a postcard. My knowledge of the Vintage isn't up to scratch but I thought that you guys would.

it could be one of those coach built cars, where a coach builder made their own body for a certain chassis.
I think the rear belt drive might be a good place to start investigating from, if it is something you really need to know.
Good luck

Been looking around, and from the styling i would say this is from 1912 to 1917 and could be a Sunbeam. From the shape of the rear arch its too fancy for a very early car, but the mechanics arent modern enough for a post 1918 car.
Also alot of the ideas of Sunbeam bicycles went into their cars, hence why i thought of the rubber drive band.
All this could be wrong though ;D

All I've been able to churn up is the place of issue of the plate, and the age that that number was used.
EU = Breconshire, which ties in with what the back of the card says, as it's taken by a photographers based in Breconshire, and they used just "EU" between Dec 1903 to Oct 1949.

for an old car the front actually looks quite agressive! Its like a cyclops with a horn! Especially the 2nd (white) pic.
Nice find!
