I need to get the Aero alloys on my SAAB 95 refurbed, I have been to LAPTAB in Birmingham and they want £370. A local place want £300.
Are these prices any good? Does anybody have any contacts for this sort of work in Birmingham / Solihull / Coventry area?
Cheers
Karl

Not got number or details to hand but reditch shotblast is your place. Blaste and powder coated (lot harder wearing) in pretty much any colour you can think for about £30 a wheel if you have the tires off ;D

If it's just powdercoating you want try www.bournespowdercoating.co.uk in Brum. They are by far the cheapest I found at £15 a wheel (although that was about two years ago).

Cheers guys I will give them a try. I have called Pristine and they now have a local agent and do an exchange service so your car is in and out in an hour. I have also founfd a place in Blackpool offering something similar. £250 for exchange and then I have to get them fitted.
Will let you know how I get on and post some pictures up.
Cheers

That's about a 2 min drive away, I'll see if I can get a number and get down there. Just been quoted £180 over the phone from a place on the Tyburn Road with 12 months guarantee, I'm going there Friday to see what they are like.

Guy there Russell seems to know his stuff and the standard of there work looks pretty good.

For anyone checking out this thread in the future, I used CBC in Banbury for mine. Was about £45 a wheel to have them blasted and powdercoated and the result was quality.

No problem the cost was £200 and they were turned around in a little over 24 hours. As you may have gathered I am really pleased That price was £160 cheaper than the place across the road

That's a good price - may well get them to quote for me, the 18's on my E46 daily are getting tired.
Have a receipt in the service history of my XJ where the previous owner paid £500 for a firm to remove, recon & refit the 5 wheels on that, superb quality job but very steep.
