Jesus this forum has some awful taste in colours for cars, I thought it was just the dreadful yellow on my car! Beige and green.... Just no Love Mk1's though, my mum had a brown and cream one (sand dune or something?) when I was little. Hated it at the time, would kill for it now!

Haven't updated in a while... but its all change... pretty much all beige now... and the bonnet has been sprayed, its had two coats in beige and waiting for a third. There are still patches that havent been done... but it's getting there

Good to see work still commencing. A question that has been bugging me for a few years though since I borrowed mu old man's one. How exactly do you get it into reverse? I tried for about 2 minutes before giving up and pushing it back lol.

if i remember correctly its a slight push down then down from 1

Finally some progress, dads stopped driving it, bought another mk1 for not a lot, and stripping it down has begun...
