Alloy Safety Devices rollcage.

The car ran in the Roadgoing hillclimb class before the requirement to retain all interior trim came in. I couldn't decide whether to add back the trim and enter Roadgoing again or fit a steel cage + master switch and enter Modified Production so at the moment the car is part way between the 2 - it is fitted with headlining, door cards, etc and I have a carpet for it that is not fitted. It currently only has 1 seat but I can include a tatty but functional Motordrive seat if required so it would only need some rear seats off eBay to be ready for the Roadgoing class or for Road Rallies (I road rallied one very like this back in the early 90's and being small, nimble & light it was excellent round the lanes). Alternatively the cage could be replaced with a steel one and with the master switch I've bought but not fitted it would be ready for ModProd. Or use it on trackdays as it is and surprise a few people as at just 750Kgs it's quicker than the 100bhp suggests.
It's a joy to drive, grip is excellent and the light weight means you can brake really late and carry lots of corner speed - if you miss the apex, it's your fault not the car's. Sadly though, it's got to go as I need the space for a rally car project.
