Does anybody know anything about or even own this car? I like, a lot. I'm hopefully aiming for something like this for my Westminster and I want (need) to know about this one. I only have 2 pics, both shamelessly nabbed from the Farina Forum.   and here is the state of mine at the moment.  as you see I have a way to go yet. |

its been slammed and equipped with a set of steelies off maybe a Cadillac or something?
Big Farina is 5x5" PCD so you have plenty of yank metal sharing that - Buick, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, some Chevy, some large Fords, Mercury, Lincoln, etc. as well as Grand Cherokee, some vans and commercials like the smaller LDV stuff and the Rover P4, P5, P6 and SD1.
I hope a tuned to the balls Healey style straight 6 is in there.

Ahhh I didn't know all that yank stuff had the same PCD. Rover P5 rostyles is a common wheel... ummm 'upgrade' for the westminster but not so easy to get hold of here in Norway, it will be easier getting hold of Yank wheels though.
Seth, at the moment i'm welding it back together and have indeed thought about a tuned Healey spec engine (i'm unlikely to get anything else approved by the powers that be here) I hoping just to get it back on the road for the summer and then restart the thought process as to what to do with it when the winter returns.
I think a Westminster might look cool on slotmags, this was surely done in the 70's ??
I think it might be a V8 in the one i'm asking about here but there isn't much info about it on the Farina Forum hence the question to the RR masses here.

yeah i had noticed that one quite a bit at wheels day.... stood there for a while just staring at it trying to figure out why it just looks so 'right' , but it does.... soooo subtle but so cool....

think it belongs to tim langrish looking at the sticker in the back window who also runs a westminster estate which he built himself and owned a few farinas over the years including one westy which also used to run a 280c lump

Yes this Westy belongs to Tim Mr Westy Langrish. yes it runs a V8, chevy I think> It has just undergone a bit of a rebuild new stance wheels Lsd. Tim does all the work him self and is very clever with what he does but dosent share to much info. As stated he has built his own Westy estate with Nissan power amougst others. This car along wilth Bills V8 Riley was in Classics magazine about a year or so ago. The wheels are a trade secret. As does it ever look cool.
