I can't quite tell (because it's not in front of me irl) but it looks to me that the S bend of the hose will become alot more extreme when the suspension is in bump, possibly even kinking it. On full right hand lock with the suspension in droop the hose should nearly be straight and on the other side in bump an S like in the pictures is fine but only on full bump an alternative to shorting up the body mount is to get a longer braided hose and put it around the strut: hose should come out 90 degrees to the body, not parallel

Plus, it looks like the hose will chafe on the strut there. Not nitpicking mate, looks like an awesome build, but better to sort these things out now rather than later eh?

well wee bit more off an up date i have been having real problems with the steering when i connected the hubs to the steering rack and turned the steering wheel because the corsa hubs have a longer arm it broke the steering joint in half becaused i used corsa hubs i thought it would be a straight fit with the steering rack well i was wrong but to be honest it would have been a lot more work with the vectra hubs as they mount the steering alot lower than a corsa or nova so after another batch off head and hole scratching my brother suggested cutting the track rod end so i did on closer inspection this left around 2 threads and wouldnt be safe on a car it also wasnt deep enought to screw it on full to the steering rack so i stuck it in the vice and drilled it deeper as there was plenty of material left to work with then i tapped it to the right thread i have done this on the other side with a new trackrod end but forgot to take pics so now it fits and steers from lock to lock no problem ofcourse i and going to get the steering aligned correctly when i get it on the road

hey - Nice work with the engine conversion! I'm still on the little 1.1 engine in my cinquecento sporting - I'm waiting for it to explode so I can whack the 1.2 or 1,4 fire engine in I recently had exactly a similar problem with a cheapo motorfactor track rod end! It was too long to getthe tracking correct! - It took me about 3 weeks to think of trimming it down like that! Nice Work These cars are so much fun in standard form! This will be CRAZY! Hope to see the car sometime

That sounds mental. Love this little car, going on the track at RRG 10 then? Reckon it'd be the quickest thing there.......

to be honest I don't think I like them too much on it. How about some narrow revolutions with tiny profile rubber? or even alleycats? they would look better I think. mind you it is very hard to tell I think it may work with a healthy drop the car is awsome! if you get bored you could also turbo it too ;D I like the idea about the fluffy pink toys etc that would be good just remember the pink furry dice and a 'powered by fairydust' sticker lol at the fairydust sticker I had a black one with minilights on it might go that way because they were 4 x 100 with wobble nuts any more info on this one? cheers

Lets clear up car terms: "Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence. "Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.
