yay. thats goin to surprise some people! not a very good picture of wheels so...... like I said earlier not 100 % sure if I am gonna use them scene tax with 4x100 tho to be honest i don't think i like them too much on it. How about some narrow revolutions with tiny profile rubber? or even alleycats? they would look better i think. mind you it is very hard to tell i think it may work with a healthy drop the car is awsome! if you get bored you could also turbo it too ;D i like the idea about the fluffy pink toys etc that would be good just remember the pink furry dice and a 'powered by fairydust' sticker

well bit off a big update and if a mod wants to move this to a project section mehhh !!! tho i don't have all the pics to prove lol ok my biggest problems where the shafts/steering/ brakes hubs ect i eventually stuck with corsa hubs because they were the closest and didnt need the steering modifyed as much as they would have with the vectra hub i had toyed with useing the corsa strut aswell but it ment drilling holes in the strut top tho the corsa was a few millimeters thinner and i had to work out some way off mating it to the fiat hub carrier this is the corsa strut and the fiat one here is the 2 stuts together corsa on the left fiat on the right so after a load off messing about and making up spacer plates i finally got the corsa hubs in and bolted to the struts then i fitted the bottom ball joint in to the corsa hub and noticed that the cv joint is hitting the bolt for the bottom arm so i still have a wee sleve and bolt to make up but to get it rolling again the weight of the car will hold them in i might need to get corsa ones modified in to the fiat bottom arms so next thing i noticed is that the corsa hubs are forcing the wheels to "toe in" and when i tryed steering it it broke the ball joint by measuring it i noticed that the steering rack needs shortened by at least 40 mm and then rethreaded tho my main aim for this week end was to get it as a rolling chassis again because it is booked in to my freind garage to get new brake pipes week after next so here she is back on the ground for the first time in 8 months and 3 engines later

ok time for a bit off an update while most were out getting full of irish cheer i had a few wee jobs still to do on the fiat first up was the battery there was no way i could have located it under the bonnet there is no room what so ever for it so i had to put it in the boot after a bit off hunting online ect the alloy battery trays for mk 1 and 2 escorts ect where far 2 expencive so what i did was went to halfords was only a couple off quid then the next problem i had was a tray now i could have made one out off aluminim (that eco tec warrior donated to the cause ) but i found that the original one off the fiat was a plastic tray and would / could do the job screwed her down i then drilled 2 holes at 45 degrees in the floor right threw the battery tray in to the wheel arch then put in the battery clams with big washers on the wheel arch side so they couldnt pull threw so with the battery propperly clamped down i could start the wiring fiat must have new there would be big cables run down under the plastic sills cause they left big clips in there for me then i trimmed the boot carpet and flase floor round the battery so i have a couple off wee P shaped clips to do and all will be sweet NEXT the fuel pump i have monkey d bits off corsa fuel pump on to the fiat and then i had to connect a few wires so thats the fuel pump sorted but i need a new fuel pump relay ffs the other one was soaking then i got stuck in to the plumbing tho i forgot to take pics off the home made radiator brackets but heres one off the original fiat header tank in its new location with some aluminum brackets and last but not least bumper well chopped out to squeese the corsa rad in

exhaust pic as promised well i was gonna send her up to my mates to get the brakes sorted but theres a few things still to do before she can roll now i have a problem with the lower arms that arose its head the other night when i was doing the exhaust apart from the obvious they were not tightend  i thought after doing a bit off interweb home work that doing brake pipes looks easy so i went down to auto glass and came home with this lot thats 2 new corsa flexi brake lines a roll off brake pipe and a brake flareing tool this is a pic off the old brake pipe which bust when i moved it to weld the chassis leg so not wanting to fluff anything up i cut a small peice off copper pipe to practice the flaring tool on looks sweet then i got a wee brake pipe fitting from the fiat and belive it or not and it fitted then tried it in to the flexi so next was to try it on to the hub/caliper no problems here untill i realised how much shorter the corsa one is from the standard fiat  after a bit off head and ball scratching i decided on making a wee plate up but first off trip to halfords to get welding wire :wtf:drilled the original bracket off and noticed a bit off rust starting so after a bit off faffing about i test fitted the flexi so i pulled apart strut and every thing out again and gave it a lick off paint and bent a bit off the new brake pipe in to shape and slid it in behing the engine using the original brake pipe clips on the bulkhead and stuck the strut ect back in have still the same to do on the other side bit thats a bit more done
