I'd like to express a big thank you to the guys (and girls) that got down to this meet yesterday, I know there was issues with parking (or finding us) thanks to the American Circus on our usual plot, but once we got sorted it was a good laugh, with good weather and plenty to chat about.
The quailty of the cars was as good as ever....
Firstly, this old boy wasn't with us but fequented the petrol station we parked behind, lovely, original looking old Imperial.
I should have taken my time and blocked out the Zafira with the wing of the Morris....
Proper cool
How gorgeous is this? Its a real credit to the owner, daily driven and so, so right.
Though, it makes mine look like a total shed
Again, having a meet in a petrol station means you see all sorts of stuff filling up, like these two...
Heavy oil Passat on Bentley Bling.....
....and a tongue-in-cheek nova saloon.
Obligatory macro badge shots
Nom-Nom-Sidepipe-Nom-Nom
Nice to see this little Datto again, top chap for travelling to see us
A couple of overall-ish shots
Stunning Morris owned by MorrisOxide of this parish. Surely theres a feature with this cars name on it
Apt plate for road rally spec mk2
Si bumpered late mk3.
Erm , yeah. EscRot.
What can I say...
Chopped springs kill kittens, etc etc. Still look good though.
Weight saving gone crazy. I never knew paint weighed so much
Arty-farty
and another
The Morris again
A couple more random shots
StevePeanut's Cortina, sounds like theres some tasty plans afoot with this
And finally, I followed this back into town. That cheeky little sidepipe sounds pretty cool when given a bootfull.
A great day was had by all!
Well me anyway, and I'd like to think it wasn't too bad for everyone else.
I'll update the thread sharpish, and look forward to seeing some of you next month
