Well.. ive had this 1 year exactly.
Kept it quiet for a while to work on it and now its roadworthy. Ive always loved the newer vr4s and had 3 till now. When I moved house I sold the last Legnum i had and missed working on them. Seen this come up cheap and thought Id save it from being used as an Evo doner.
Plan was to keep costs very low but the laughs high. Car was very cheap and my mate at a good japanese garage has been toying with it for a while.
I picked up many bits on the cheap and so far it has:
Greddy emanage blue
Big 16g TD05 Turbo
Boost contoller
Evo 8 injectors
Custom turbo back exhaust
Ive got all the usual bits, leads, filters, fuel pump etc still to do before its retuned. Currently running at 1 bar (0.8 standard) and getting used to it before going higher.
Handling is mad. Its not lowered, its on standard wheels etc and it has 4 wheel steer that is extremely frightening at first in this car... it feels like the back end is going on most corners... but handles well enough, just a feeling to get used to.
Plan is to keep it looking as it is and work on the engine (6 bolt version of the early evo engines). I might lower it a little
