evening all, since buying a new MAc, I haven't yet managed to get photoshop across (plus I think this is a bit above my skill and artistic talent). Been pondering a budget make over for my Eunos this summer (not involving a roller and satin paints ) and come to the conclusion that a salt flats style could work well, espec as I have steels on it already. so, taking the pic below, can some one chuck on a set of moon discs, suitable numbering/ graphics to suit (and of course some ride height adjustment ;D ) Cheers Craig

Cheers ;D Hmm, that does work quite well, will have to look a bit further into this. Where is the best (ie easiest and cheapest) place to get 14" moon discs?

Salt flat style anything is always a winner If those are 14s, how about some 15s on the back.

They are 14's, if i went for 15's just on the back it could upset the handling (which is 1 of the big parts of driving it) and would mean sourcing a set of 15" steels as well (not sure what would work, is there a cheap source of suitable 15's other than G60 rims?) where as i was looking for something that could be done quick and cheap

Think it might be a Suzuki Swift looking at that rear, the front had me fooled though.

Yup 15" wheels on the rear would look better. Can't see why it would upset the handling - there are plenty of cars to rob them off due to 4x100-ness.

They are supposed to be very sensitive to tyres, even running different tyres of the same size front to back (in axle pairs) isn't recomended (but how much you'd actually notice, i don't know ) Wheel choice wise, Vaux is the obvious choice for donors, but then would need spacers for sorting the offset. Hmm, more thinking needed. What are the pro's and cons of clip on V's screw on moon discs?

I'm running 15"alloys s on the front and 13 inch steel wheels on the back of mine (temporary) not felt any unusual handling characteristics tho spinning up is way easier

not for a while: ford pop, 32 rails,
not in this lifetime: ruby, '29 hillman

and then this, surely not a metro at Bonneville Think it might be a Suzuki Swift looking at that rear, the front had me fooled though. You're both right - Suzuki Swift, marketed as the Geo Metro in the US Googling "Bonneville Geo Metro" brings up this: Taken from here.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Renault do 15x6 or 6.5 steels in a more friendly ET36 compared to the ET47 of Vauxhalls.
