Yeah. Bought these off a seller in Walsall who advertised them on eBay. They were on a '66 P1800 that was an epic shed: They're not Astrali, BRM or Cosmic. I don't know who else might have made a set of wheels in 5 x 114.3 back then. They look more European than American. Can't turn up a maker's mark anywhere. They look a lot like other designs that were being banded around in the 60's \ 70's, but I've not managed to find another wheel that's exactly like them. Any ideas - speak up from the back.

Was going to say Dunlop, but the hole shape is different.

The slots are a different shape to those Dunlops.

It's a PITA. No one has been able to conclusively nail what they are yet and I can't see any markings on the back of them.
The closest thing they resemble are the EMPI Sprint Stars \ Rostyles. And those steel Pedrini things. Except these are definitely NOT for anything VW related. They're 5 x 114.3 and are the right offset for an Amazon \ P1800. The seller didn't know what they were either, that's perhaps why they cost me £82 and a baffling trip to Walsall.
Top bloke though, he worked on the experimental line at Castle Bromwich, and had a Staffy that could almost do a back flip.

I would say they are Dunlops. They made more than one design,I'm not sure of their designation but they're not D1's like on that Lotus. Maybe if someones got an old CCC or Hot Car mag they could find an advert of the full range,I think there were 4 different styles.

Something in my head is saying 'Astrali', but the closest design I can find is BWA:

I've got "Inovetti" in my mind for some reason... they look like DeTomaso style wheels perhaps? Someone was selling a set for a mini on the forum a while back.

Porsche 924 - gone Citroen Saxo VTR - not very retro but I loved it - now gone... MK4 Golf GTi 1.8T - gone but hardly remembered... Mini Cooper S R53 - gone BMW 125d Coupe - gone (mostly sideways)
Ford Focus RS Mk1 - hello low MPGs and "wanna race me" at every set of lights... 1973 BMW 2002 - Twin 40's, 284 Cam, Revolutions, E21 Recaros + more Porsche Cayman 987 3.4S - here and due to cost me more money than I have
