Bit of a strange one. Apparently they bolt straight up to Series Land Rovers and give you locking diffs and massively improved ground clearance.
Wheels as well if you have them please.

Agreed! I was after a pair for my 109" but it seems they are rare in this country and anything under 1k aint worth having! Have you been in contact with Jez at House of Flying Spanners? I belive he has a contact that imports these axles(tap House of Flying Spanners into google, they have a website with contact details)

As for me getting a pair, once i found out the prices of them I sorta went off the idea! If you want an example of a 109 with portals, one of Jez's mates has a maroon station wagon running a 4.6 megasquirted v8 and volvo axles, he posts on LR4x4.com under the name of FridgeFreezer if you want to have a word with him :-)

I've got some Laplander axles! The only issue here is that the so-called Laplander was the L3314 and the subsequent C202, not the C303! (I'll get me coat) If you're interested in these, they'll be going cheap fairly soon. Apparently, they are Dana based/copies and the brakes are from the Series parts bin. Deffinately stronger than series axles, but probably not the ones you had in mind. They are a better size match for a Landy than ones from a 303 though. Have a pic of my laplander c202 for your trouble....
