Model: Morris 1000
Year: 1966
Mileage: christ knows
Tax: NIL
MOT: NIL
Location: Surrey/Hants/Berkshire
Price: £400
Up for sale is my Minor 1000 project. Was on the road 5 years ago, purchased from an elderly couple who stopped using it.
No tax or MOT, needs:
Brakes stripping and cleaning up - a bit stuck on
clutch adjusting
new battery
couple of patches here and there.
some re-assembly.
I only have 1 picture at the moment, which is from when I picked it up.
So far it has:
Rear bumper removed.
Rear wings removed.
Rear window removed.
Bootlid removed.
interior removed.
I have a replacement fibreglass bootlid that'll come with the car.
Both rear wings are included, the metal one is quite servicable, the drivers side is a fibreglass one I was going to replace with a pattern steel wing.
Interior is all out the car, sitting in my parents nice warm garage. I can pile this in the back of the car when its collected.
Plan was to weld up the patches (not many to be honest, a couple either side by the mid-sills, and inner wings and bits - nothing serious, by any means IMO, paint it satin green, drop it and off we go.
I've run into a little financial issues, and this isnt top of the list of priorities, so off it goes.
V5 present, 3 owners from memory, certainly more than worth saving.
Engine ran like a dream before I put it under-cover for the winter, but I'll take the covers off tomorrow and fire it up.
All electrics work, still positive earth, totally un-messed with.
More pics when I get it out from the covers.
I'm at GU47 0UH for distance purposes.
www.shiply.com will help with moving it, they charged me £50 to move it 50 miles home from the south coast.
The wheels were refurbished just before it was taken off the road, so are nice and straight.
Interior was quite nice and tidy, red vinyl. Think the front seats were a little worn so had seat covers on. Carpet set was quite recent before it was taken off the road.
£400 is fair, the fibreglass bootlid wasnt that cheap.
I'll give it a day or 2 on here, then its off to eBay.
