What do we think of this Citroen

I saw the front and thought "hmm. Xantia" then hit the side view and boom! awesome!

I'm not normally a fan of pick-up coversions - some work, some don't. But I quite like that. Must have ben a fair amount of work gone into it, with the roof-chop and rear end all chopped about.
The wheels are pretty gash though, IMHO.

Not convinced by this. Proportionally, I think the roofline is too low, and the rear past the axle too short. The bodywork needs a little tidying, and either a full set of steels or more substantial looking alloys would work for me, otherwise, not a bad looking conversion.

You can't really ride around on it in lowest setting. It's an awful ride, and the hydraulic steering and brakes get upset.

Great thing about using one as a pickup is that if you really load it up, the suspension will return back to normal height. I chucked 2 engines in the back of mine and on a normal sprung car it would look really obvious but with the Shitroen it just levelled out and remained a lot more balanced.

Oh, front pic made me think it was gonna be ugly but as said side profile is great I've liked these for a while as the profile loosely reminds me of 70's 4 dr saloons and this one seems to have an old skool vibe.

I've got one but mines far too boring and standard (apart from the dents!)

different, fair play to the bloke for doing it, lots of work, especially on a fairly unloved model like the Xantia. So kudos to it.

I really like that. Thought it was an XM from the front, I'm really feeling pickups at the moment!! Wheels are a bit gash though and you're right about the ride on knackered suspension, a mate had one and 15 minutes in it had me on the verge of losing my lunch!
