Excellent stuff. That (presumably SPitfire?) with teh Triumph engine is interesting. Electric water pump perhaps as the mechanical one's not there! That MG engine is rather tasty... Some mega impressive machinery.

Boner! Question: This is from August, yes? Or September meet? And where is Part 1 of this meet, if it is September meet? (I remember your August thread, we were both there!) Cheers, Norm It was Septembers, so 2 weeks ago (don't think I made the August one, last one I made was back in May - think your thinking of Mr J's thread on the Renault day?). And if by part one you mean race one of stuff I've got on cicuit, or all the other races with the saloon and GT's etc, I couldn't any good shots from around the GP circuit (too far away), though Dave with his big zoom should have got some nice ones and he said he'd throw some up when he gets through them - I think he took over 1000! As for the M1, no sorry, even with the video I missed it - think Dave got a pic though. The first track one below is 2nd place (Porsche) onwards, the M1 is so loud you get ready to film it about a minute before it turns up, but by the time its 10seconds away its so loud you can't hear it getting louder - then the damn thing appears out of nowhere and flies passed like its got warp drive! ;D I missed it twice before my battery died Seth, it was a spitfire, 1300 I beileve. It was fast for what it was but sadly outclassed by many of the cars. I think from watching the races though the car I wanted most was a Lotus Elan, there were 5 at the start of the weekend all battling each other hard - I think two mad it out alive, had the complete rear end torn off but thats what happends when you race properly! Thanks for all the comments guys, and to say thankyou properly have some videos to give you a little idea what it was like ;D First off the pits before a race on Saturday - note the trio of crazy DKV 2-strokes! now to the track Sorry for the wobble and not so great quality - that a handheld basic digi for you, but the sound gives you an idea Spotted this on youtube too and thought you might like it

Ah, got your post confused with the one from dyno fellow with the house in town from back in August. You labelled your thread "Part 2", sos why I was asking about where Part 1 is. Thought you had another stack of pics you posted earlier? Dave as in Old Bus Dave? If so, figures he'd have a big zoom, lol. (I'll get my coat....) EDIT: No race video of the RS3100 Grp2? No noise from the GA? Pity! I noticed that the ex-Muecke car from your close-ups is a different RS than the one you snapped on circuit. So there were two of them. Perhaps one is the Frenchie who was there in August?

And I missed the RS3100 as well unfortunatly There were a couple of RS3100's, the one I snapped close up was the minter of the two, but they were both going quick. Awesome cars. No idea of the owners, afraid I got too taken over by going 'Oooooooo pretty' lol
