Well as usual I've posted a lot about nothing, so now I'm going to try and redress the balance by writing a little about a lot
So before the photo dump, some background.
Me and my mate Dave decided a while ago we needed to get to the Ring (Nurburgring) again. But not just for a day, no we needed a weekend to kick back, get drunk and then recover with English breakfasts and the smell of old racing cars. What we needed was the Older Timer GP ;D so a couple of weeks ago we went
We also needed some wheels, and Dave came up trumps. Let me introduce you to Ugly Betty
Not fast, but comfy and great for chilling out retro style (wish I'd taken a photo of the inside, it was 70's fake wood heaven )
Right enough talk, photo time.
Day one - the wake up view
A few cars from the car park we slept in
Then it was time to hit the GP circuit, we decided on one day there, one day around the North loop. Seats for the morning sessions
and the view - DTM group (close ups later )
Right lets hit the paddock - it was about this point I realised I will never have enough money to have all the cars I want, which was well basically every one I photo'd
Back end of a Vette Stingray - drool
Race Support for
The quality of these cars is hard to describe, but lets see if this helps
NSU FTW
Heart of the car I wanted most
Can you guess what it is?
and it needs big brakes
and the 914 I wanted bad
I fancy a coffee
thats handy
Tasteful?
Erm mebbe not
Tasty?
Oh Yes
Time for some 700's
Loved the detailing on this
Mega fast, but went pop (again) on Sunday
Time for some shopping - obvious shop window display
Got Dish?
Top of the tower on the GP pits
and back down into the paddock proper
Best Volvo ever?

fastest thing all weekend?

Getting ready to do battle
Right thats day one. Day two up later when I get chance, but if you can't wait heres my photobucket
