Anyone know what FWD gearboxes will fit a Fiat Twin cam engine? The one found in the Fiat 131s in either 1.6 or 2l formats.
Been having very naughty dreams lately !!! ;D

Have a look at FWD Lancias of the 70s and 80s BUT You might have to tilt the engine or box. When I converted my Lancia TC engine to RWD, I had to change sump and oil pump. Since engine was angled in the LAncia but Fiats are upright in RWD

They fwd'd the twink -think (Abarth )Strada for example. You'll need driveshafts,hubs etc as well-its not a straightforward change. I've got spare Strada box's (engines,driveshaftsetc)-but they really arent cheap. However- if you're desperate....
