	I would like a little bit of advice from anyone who has done this conversion! The car the system is fitted to is a 92 k, with the standard servo and compensator. The rear has been fitted with a adjustable compensator to stop the rears locking up under hard braking. The issue I have is that the pedal feel isnt great and I think i could probably stop quicker with my feet thro the floor! There is no air in the system as i must have put about 3 litres of fluid through the system with no bubble comming out. any ideas / suggestions would also be appreciated! Also there was a company advertising the conversion kit in miniworld mag a couple of months back, would anyone be kind enough to let me know there contact details as the mrs has binned the mag!

	All I can add is that I have fiesta brakes on my mini (85 mayfair) It's got no servo, and almost takes 2 feet on the pedal, but it really does stop!

	Sounds like you need a bigger bore master cylinder to move enough fluid to get the brakes to apply, though given the fiesta calipers are only one sided, I wouldn't have expected this to be the case but its always possible, especially if the brakes are releasing a lot. Does it work better (and a mean a big improvement) with a double pump? Pedal feel with a servo is generally a bit poor, have you tried adjusting the pedal to servo rod to make sure its not got too much free play? Oh and have you adjusted the rear brakes to make sure that they're just free of the drums? If theres a lot of travel before contact then you'll loose all you brake pressure to the rear trying to get them to apply, don't think the bias valve would add to this problem, but it might. Hope something there helps

	the rears are adjusted probably a little on the tight side tbh. I'm have made some enquires about some better pads but i don't think these are going to sort it. cheers for the replies! Gav

	I had this conversion on a 93 L plate Italian Job, everything else was standard i.e servo m/cylinder, rear brakes etc. I used Mk11 fiesta calipers with standard pads. The brakes took a bit of bedding in and had a firmer pedal than the standard brakes (I prefered that anyway) but they had loads of power, even better than the metro turbo 4 pot, vented discs that I've used in the past. Definately worth persevering with it. Sorry I can't be much use in solving the problem. Have a picture instead
