Well got the LADA taxed tonight and went for it's first drive to see if it will go tomorrow. Answer is NO. Leaking rocker gasket and either rattley timing chain or tappets. I should drive it anyway but cant risk damaging the engine and no time to fix. For all who see the guy in the MGZT. I ashamedly appologise for a non retro attending car.

Ladas kill timing chains for fun........my old Niva used to sound like a Talbot Solara being played through a PA at a Motorhead gig, never actually broke though. Look on the bright side....at least you'll be there.

I'm fairly sure the Lada chains can be adjusted, correct me if I'm wrong about that.
