I took this out of my Lupo not that long ago. It has covered 106k and really needs a set of stem seals, but is otherwise good.
I'd assume this would fit in older polos/mk1 golfs that take a small block engine? The gearboxes off a mk2 polo fit it I know that much. It's all alloy and not that heavy (I've carried it across the garage a few times and didn't foul myself or hear any twangs from my crotch)
You could megasquirt it, you could put a carb on it? put it in a mk1 polo? I just want it gone and don't wanna put it in the back of my Lupo and weigh it in because the boot is full of subwoofer, and to be honest it was a good runner apart from being smokey on startup and after overrun.
Anyway, so yeah. Free 1.4 16v engine (75 hp or thereabouts) if you collect it from just off J1 M18, Rotherham. If you fetch me 4 beers or a Quarter Pounder meal from McDonalds, I'll throw in a 30k old clutch and cover, inlet manifold, flywheel and injectors.
