Model: Ford Capri 2.0 laser Year: 1989 Mileage: 70K(ish) Tax: Nil MOT: aug 2010 Location: Bradfied Berkshire Price: £offers Ok here's my capri up for sale, i'm going to bung it on ebay but thought i'd give you lot a chance first.. I bought it earlier in the year as a bit of fun but soon found I didnt have the time for another project.. I've just finished all the work it needed except for the cosmetic stuff and i'll MOT it in the next couple of days... spec is.. Origional 2.0 laser in black 2.0 pinto with K'N and single box sports exhaust with tubular manifold, low milage and just had an oil change, seems to me like it's had some work from experience i'd say it either has a nice increase in compression or a lumpier cam (poss both) either way it starts instantly goes damn well doesn't smoke at start or under load and has great oil pressure..... 5 speed box with new clutch Low ratio atlas axle from 1600 laser (speedy off the line now) has had all the proper 2.0 brakes etc fitted Full shark grey recaro interior in great nick bar one piece of worn piping 2.0S steering wheel and novelty piston gearknob dash top is uncracked and blower works on both speeds. Brand new starmag wheels with chrome nuts never been used on road with good tyres all round Goodridge braided lines all round. Mk2 bumpers and grill 2.8i top tint windscreen Bodywork scruffy round the edges but nothing that cant be sorted by filling and painting in, one small hole on trailing edge of wheelarch that needs doing but it's not desperate! It'll go on ebay as soon asi have the MOT as I'm desperate fr the cash at the mo, you know what these go for so make me a sensible offer if you fancy a bit of sideways retro ford fun this year this is the only serious damage that needs doung top of arch is dented and bottom has a small hole...

more than £600 less than £1000
make me an offer, you could make near the top figure by breaking it..
it owes me somewhere in that region (i don't want to add it up...)
the front wing is a new one (well new to the car) and only has one thin coat of paint needs another couple to bring the gloss up might get round to this might not...

Just a quick question to clarify the year. A "D" plate would suggest 1986 and if my Capri history is up to scratch they didn´t build them in 1989 - does it say 89 n the V5? Looks a good un, especially with those Starmags..... have a free bump

No sorry, I'm not the biggest fan either, but i got them cheap of the last owner if i bought them with the car, i stupidly sold the 4 spokes as a chap on OSF offered me a nice set of deep cross spokes as a straight swap for the star mags so i was gonna do that so i didnt need the 4 spokes, untill i realised i'd have to sell the capri due to funds shortage...
I was offered £250 cash for them after only one day if advertising them so they should do ok on ebay, nd make it a very cheap car as the 4 spokes arent exactly dear i sold 4 nice ones for £75 iirc..
