Hi Guys, This is over on e46zone, just thought id link it up here incase anyone would be insterested (this isnt my car or anything) www.e46zone.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=8172&hl=Hi Guy
My Mum asked me to get rid of her friends car, apparently its been kept in the garage over a number of years!! She mentioned it was a VW polo, in which i though it was aswel, as i can remember her driving it when i was teenager!
Well went round last night with a mate and to our amazement, it wasnt a Polo but a 1977 Opel Rekord in as i can only discribe it as in piston condition!!!Both my friend and i were stunned!
The car in perfect condition only done 60k with full service history and only had one owner since new! In white with brown velor seats... and all the chrome trims are still glemming! We hook some jump leads on and with a bit of messing around the thing fired up! everything is working and there even a sunroof tilt and slide!
The car is in my mates garage now, just wondering if these worth anything?

That looks like a very good example. In Holland that would go for 2500 euro's easily.

It's the phrase the sort of people who think a 70's Opel is worth over twice its market value use instead of 'pristine condition'. ;D |
