I've just moved house and don't have the space for 3 cars, so this one needs to go asap. It's a mk.2 GTI 16v 3dr in Tornado Red which I bought in January and has covered 141,000 miles. The good points:

New parts: Timing belt and tensioners
Water pump
Battery
Front and rear discs
Front and rear pads
Handbrake cables x2
Oil, filter, plugs and leads
Oil pressure switch
Antifreeze
Exhaust mounts
The car has some speedline alloys and an aftermarket steering wheel, but that aside is completely standard - no daft mods of boy racer abuse. It has electric windows, central locking, MFA computer and a factory fit sunroof. It doesn't have power steering, but I've always preferred it that way. It also has rather rare headlamp washers, but one was leaking so they have been disconnected. Underneath is solid and needed only a tiny patch of welding for the MOT. The interior is in very good condition with no rips or tears, no stereo but the original ISO plugs are still there. There are however some bad points:
Speedo cable broken
Few bits of surface rust and a couple of minor scuffs
Gearbox a bit stiff in 1st and 2nd and whines a bit (but doesn't crunch.)
Engine a bit smokey (not bad for 140K though and still pulls very well)
Needs a new cold start valve (rough starting from cold, fine as soon as it begins to warm up)
Minor damage to the NS splitter and front valance
It can be used as a daily driver, a small project or perhaps ripe for an engine swap. Sorry no swap or part ex
