I'm sure theres a few valve spring compressors.
Ive also just found a hand held spot welder, a sealey Sr 10 11.
Has short and long arms and some spare tips etc. I know nothing about spot welders though. Pic in a bit when its uploaded.

There is a small hobby mig, not been used for a while. I used to use it. It was ok but sometimes suffered from the usual hobby mig wire feed probs. if your intereted ill dig it out, plug it in and see how it is. As for the spot welder, i have no idea. Had a little look but couldnt find that model. I havent tried it but have no reason to believe it isnt fine. if you wanted it we would have to work out some way of checking it. I have no idea how to work a spotwelder As for price, i'd have to trust your honesty on what its worth i think.

Oh, any prices i have put, there open to negotiation. On some stuff I'm guessing on prices. If there too much then make an offer.

been searching ebay to try and find a price for the spotwelder. Last one made around 140 with the short arms. this has short and long arms (why are arms so expensive???) and some bits and bobs. How does 150 sound? If you wanted to collect we would obviously be able to try it out first

someone else from sheffield has already asked the same thing. if it doesnt sell before ill bring it back. if the other guy decides he doesnt want it ill let you know. Idealy, it would be good to get some of the big stuff collected soon to give us some space, so I'm going to ammend some prices. A frame, 120 Hoist, 120 spring compressor, 60 spot welder, 120 In essex remember

Sounds like what I'm after, as long as it's capable enough for welding on cars. It's my first welder to learn how to weld so not looking for anything amazing. I'm after gas not gassless though, that's quite important. If you could give it a test and give me some details on the model and make that would be great

its probably a bit further down the line but let me know if you come across a handful or two of old whitworth sized spanners. everything on an austin 7 is not the sizes I have and I hate rounding nuts I have no way of replacing!
