I have 2 of these kits f/s. the first one is very clean, looks almost new, but is missing the fan mounting brackets and the controller knob(not a problem, I can turn it by hand even with it missing), the second one is older/dirtier but is complete with knob and brackets. both work fine. spec- kenlowe klm1702 12" fan, 12 volt. 4 mounting holes on motor baseplate. kenlowe 'variamatic' thermal fan controller. basically an adjustable thermosat/fan switching relay. capillary type, you mount sensor inside top hose. retail is slightly over £100 for a fan and controller kit. I want £45 each kit, posted. do your motor a favour and ditch that power-robbing viscous fan;)

pull off and throw away viscous fan coupling, fan + shroud. bolt leccy fan on in an appropriate place- about 1/2" from rad matrix, as high up the rad as poss- may need to make some simple flat plate brackets to do this depending on application. pull off top hose, slip in sensor, bit of ptfe tape to wrap/seal sensor wire to pipe stub, refit pipe+ tighten. screw controller down somewhere appropriate in engine bay- I had mine on the side of the battery tray. wire controller to fan + a live feed- can be direct to battery as controller will cut fan off when water temp drops below whatever level you set it at, not when ign is turned off- thats how I had it set anyway to prevent heatsink. set temp you want it to switch on/off at on control knob, job done.
