Hi Pete,
is the box a standard Type 9 or a modified one for the 24V and is it a 5 speed.
Did you have to modify the loom once the autobox was disconnected?
cheers, Dave

Ooooh! Is the 5spd on a cologne V6 not suitable for the 24v BOB's then? If so I've made a boo boo & would like to request 2nd dibs on this one if OB doesn't take it...
Cheers!
HC.

Ooooh! Is the 5spd on a cologne V6 not suitable for the 24v BOB's then? Which type? there are 2 (more if you count the 4x4 versions) The later MT75 normally found on the 2.9 is fine bolted up to the 24v. The problem is that the V6 RWD version is rare in the UK. People normally make one up using bits from a V6 4x4 box and a 4 pot box. The Type 9 is not really designed for the power of the 24v and is relatively easy to break when bolted up to the 24v. There are mods that can beef up the box to take more power/abuse

I will get round to finishing it at some point
