Hey Guys, My Phase 1 Renault Clio Sport 172 has been off the road for about 2 months and it's now time for a bit of a makeover.... It's going to recieve some fresh paint in the original pearl black as only handful were ever produced in this colour. But my massive dilemma is wheel choice?! really need some help on this as I need to order some rims in the next few days but can't decide at all.... Here's a picture of the clio, Wheels i'm currently considering, Lenso BSX, Rota GT3 in either black or maybe even red? Rota Track, Dare XT, Or can you spot something interesting for it on rimstyle.com? Running coilovers so ride height can be fine tuned for whatever wheels I go for.... Opinions needed kinda being tempted by the red gt3's?! but not sure if it would work...

hmm, choices choices!! Depends what look you're going for tbh - if you're going for tough track slag sort of thing, then the gt3's, if youre going pimp then the lensos or the dares. The rota Track would look good on a retro car, like a mk1 golf or something, don't think the rounded clio would pull it off so well.. i think if youre going by the colour of the car ('ard as nails ;D) then the gt3's get my vote a couple of quick and nasty photochops:

##Update ## yesterday I picked up some super cheap rims (£90), were right on my door step to so would of been rude not to get them...... They are 16", 7J Rondell's and I fitted two today and they actually look pretty good Do they work or not? Now as they were so cheap i'm going to get them powdercoated - now my next dilemma is what colour?! Any suggestions? White? black? red?!?

IMO I think that the original wheels work best with the 172/182s. Still, a great car for what is now not alot of money.
