Hi all basically I desperately need in short time and small price either a motronic ecu for a volvo 740 2.3 (turbo B230ET) and the associated looms etc. Or a complete MS setup to convert my volvo (above engine!)
Also will happily take a complete Volvo LH loom and ecus
Will pay/travel etc for the bits just need something and fast!
Any help appreciated..

I checked my local scrappy breaking list for ya, but no Volvo Turbos.  I have a part-built Megasquirt kit but I'm not sure if a) you want to be taking on Megasquirting the engine before it's all set up and running on its normal gear, and b) whether you'd want to be retracing the steps of someone who had stopped halfway through building it! Even though I've done it all methodically and ticked it off as I went... I'll keep my eyes peeled for you. Have you tried typing in "Volvo turbo breaking" into eBay? Might come up with a result?  |

Have been trawling ebay... nothing near me and nothing as far as I can see that is running motronic.  As for the megasquirt.. I'm kind of in a catch 22 the original plan was to as you say get it all running then decide on megasquirt or a chip courtesy of turbo bricks. However with it being pretty obvious that I'm missing some vital bits and me being overly keen to get this done I'm considering all options to get me up and running! |
